I dunno. I feel very whimsical.
Small things that have happened so far this year:
I've started drawing faces and people without deforming them.
Dr.Pepper is my new favourite drink ever.
I've become more active with
YoungButInspired as a mod and like. Feature-writer person. It's fun and provides a chance to look through ALL THE ART. Which is great.
I turned 16. This is a small thing because it was predicted to happen ANYWAY since the day I was born. Unless I were to die but I didn't so it's just like "Yeah kay." With this, I got my learner's License. This is small because people only care because they're scared of me. All normal people drive or are going to drive, so. I haven't hit anybody yet, don't worry.
I baked a cake last night. I'll post crappy iPhone pictures if you want me to. It's kind of awesome looking. Which is radical, because I was just trying to cheat my usual icing method. +1 icing method acquired!
My freaking walls are absolutely covered in my friend's art. He raided my house while I was away and hung up all of his sketchbooks up on it, including the cover art. Personal note: find a way to keep heavy cardboard from falling off my wall. THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE LIKE, "OH HOW DO YOU SLEEP WITH SO MUCH STUFF ON YOUR WALL~" I say, "HOW DO YOU SLEEP WITH YOUR EYES OPEN AND THE LIGHTS ON. WHY CAN YOU EVEN SEE YOUR WALLS."
They also happen to be covered in dried lilacs. I think they're simply dead. I call them dried.
On the topic of plants in my bedroom, I also have a tree. It's a type of bamboo. It was supposed to be wind resistant. It's not. It broke. I brought it inside. It stands by being wedged between my floor and my ceiling. Hopefully if I end up moving, my mum will let me keep it. If not, I'll have to make somebody babysit it until I can sneak it in >:3
I might end up moving this year. Oh wait that's a big thing.I went through a mild art block. It's okay now, I have a whole list of things I want to draw or paint mostly draw probably only draw.
I wrote them downI have become more aware of the fact that I have to cook in my later years. I've begun saving recipes I find. I also learned how to make macoroni and cheese sans KD box. I'm proud of something I should have learned a long time ago. It's really good though. I don't use KD ever ever ever anymore.
Downloaded Rainmeter. My desktop is super pretty and clean now. Using some scripts from the Sentence series thing what's that called? Compiled it with some personal stuff and edits and whatnot.
Went to the Vancouver art gallery, only to find that they only had one floor open. Because they are
assholes disorganized people who didn't make it very clear on the WEBSITE that they were CHANGING all the ART I wanted to LOOK AT. And don't get me wrong, the one floor was lovely. Only it was supposed to be an autobiography of the gallery AND THUS WAS VERY HISTORIC AND BORING WITH LITTLE WHOLENESS OF CONCEPT. Last time I was there, they had cool mirror things and this huge story thing that was all tangled up and you had to figure out the pattern and then you could read it and it was very empowering to read just the words in itself. My dad couldn't figure it out and was thus not as entranced by it. I would love to see that thing again, however I don't have the time or resources to scour the world for it.
Bought the cutest dress. I can't wear it to nice things because it's really short and I don't want to pull on it all the time, but it's lovely. I'm wearing it right now, just cause I can.
Started a little collection of framed art in my hallway. Mum is using one wall for her photos, and I am using the other for my drawings (and paintings) So far I'm winning at a tally of 4 drawings and an old photo I never took down from before we started, to 0. Actually 1. 5:1, final answer.
Oh gross guys, my dishwasher sounds like it's breaking.Went to Tofino and California (including Disneyland, Universal Studios and the San Diego Zoo) I saw pandas and whales.
RPers: I made characturs hurdurdur
Characters on the right sideQuestion: Which whimsical drawing should I draw for you?
